Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown NYC
Around the Campfire. It was my first time going camping. I met a lot of wonderful people and I definitely learned many things from them. After spending the whole day doing activities in the snow, it felt nice gathering around the campfire and bond with each other. You can’t call it camping without having a campfire!

This is just a kokeshi (Japanese wooden doll) that I found in my house. I read from somewhere that kokeshi dolls are substitutes for unwanted babies killed after birth. Despite this creepy myth, I am still going to keep this beautifully handcrafted wooden doll in the house.

In mythology, a cyclops is a race of giants with a single eye in the middle of its forehead. In photography, when capturing a moment in time, you look through the camera with one eye. Sometimes, by looking through one eye, you can see the world in an entirely different perspective. It can be said that photography can capture a moment that has the potential to be lost forever.
